TNIB Technologies — Ideas Materialize Here
Taking on projects for Q4 2026

Software teams that ship to production, not to slides.

We are a senior engineering studio. We design, build and operate the systems your business runs on — then hand them over with the tests, docs and runbooks that make them yours.

Fixed-scope discovery in 2 weeks · No junior bench · You own the code from day one

Services

Four things we do properly

We would rather be excellent at a narrow set of problems than available for all of them. If your problem isn’t on this list, we’ll tell you and point you somewhere better.

Product engineering

Greenfield builds and second-version rewrites. A small senior team takes a problem from whiteboard to paying users, and stays until it’s stable.

  • Web and mobile applications
  • APIs, integrations and partner platforms
  • Design systems and component libraries
  • Instrumentation from the first commit

Platform & cloud

The unglamorous layer that decides whether your team ships weekly or quarterly. Infrastructure as code, real CI/CD, and observability people actually use.

  • Kubernetes, Terraform, GitOps pipelines
  • Monolith decomposition and service boundaries
  • Cost reduction — typically 30–50% on first pass
  • SLOs, alerting and on-call that isn’t cruel

Data & AI

Pipelines that don’t silently drop rows, and AI features scoped to what models are genuinely good at. We start with evaluation, not with a demo.

  • Warehouse modelling and streaming ingestion
  • Retrieval systems over your own documents
  • LLM features with offline evals and guardrails
  • Analytics your finance team will trust

Rescue & modernisation

For systems nobody wants to touch. We map what’s really there, stop the bleeding, then refactor incrementally behind tests — no big-bang rewrite.

  • Codebase and risk assessment in 10 days
  • Strangler-fig migrations off legacy stacks
  • Security and dependency remediation
  • Knowledge transfer to your in-house team

How we work

Short loops, visible progress, no surprises

Every engagement follows the same shape. You see working software in week two and every week after that.

STEP 01

Discovery

Two weeks, fixed price. We interview your team, read the code, and leave you with a written architecture and a costed plan — yours to keep, whoever builds it.

STEP 02

Thin slice

We build the riskiest path end to end and put it in front of real users. Assumptions fail here, cheaply, instead of in month five.

STEP 03

Build

Weekly demos against a public backlog. Trunk-based development, tests in the pipeline, deploys behind flags. You can ship any day you want to.

STEP 04

Handover

Runbooks, architecture decision records, and paired sessions with your engineers. We plan our own exit from the first week.

Stack

Boring technology, deliberately

We pick tools with long support horizons and large hiring pools, so you aren’t left maintaining something exotic after we leave. When we do reach for something newer, the decision record explains why.

“They spent the first fortnight telling us which half of our roadmap to delete. That conversation was worth more than the code — and the code was very good.”
Dana OkonjoVP Engineering, Palladium Bank
“Our deploy went from a Thursday-night ritual to something a new starter does on day three. Same team, same product, completely different pace.”
Marcus RyeCTO, Orbital Freight

Engagements

Three ways to work with us

Indicative rates for a UK/EU-based senior team. Every engagement starts with discovery so the number you get is a real one, not a range.

Discovery sprint

£14,000 fixed

Two weeks to find out whether the project is worth doing, and what it costs.

  • Stakeholder and user interviews
  • Architecture and technical plan
  • Costed, sequenced delivery roadmap
  • Written risk register
  • Yours to take anywhere
Book discovery

Advisory

£3,200 / month

For teams who don’t need hands on keyboards, just someone who has done it before.

  • Fortnightly architecture review
  • Hiring and interview-loop design
  • Code and security review on demand
  • Escalation line for incidents
  • Cancel any month

FAQ

The questions we actually get asked

Who writes the code — the people we meet in the pitch?

Yes. The engineers on your kickoff call are the engineers on your project. We don’t run a bench of juniors behind a senior front, which is also why we can only take on a few projects at a time.

Do we own the intellectual property?

Entirely, from the first commit. We work in your repositories, your cloud accounts and your issue tracker wherever possible. If we start in ours, everything transfers at handover with no licence attached.

Can you work with our existing engineers?

That’s our preferred setup. Mixed teams pair on real tickets, which is the only knowledge transfer that survives our departure. We can also run the interview loop if you’re hiring alongside the project.

What happens if the project goes wrong?

You’ll know early, because progress is demoed weekly against a backlog you can read at any time. Contracts run month to month after discovery with 30 days’ notice — if we’re not earning the fee, you should be able to stop without a fight.

Do you sign our security and compliance paperwork?

Routinely. We’re ISO 27001 certified, carry professional indemnity cover, and have delivered under GDPR, PCI-DSS and NHS DSPT constraints. Send us your DPA and questionnaire with the brief.

Which time zones do you cover?

The team is distributed across the UK and Central Europe, with a guaranteed four-hour overlap with your working day anywhere from UTC-5 to UTC+5.

Tell us what’s stuck

A 30-minute call with an engineer, not an account manager. If we’re not the right fit, we’ll say so on the call and suggest who is.
